I Desperatlry need HELP after updating Omnisphere

    I have just updated from Omisphere 2.0.3 to 2.6.0 I have used permission reset to the VST and component plugin files patched the component file fine but when I try to patch the VST file I get the message "Patch Failed" It opens in standalone and in Cubase (10.5). In standalone and Cubase it opens and I can see instruments loading and midi happening but no sound?....Not sure what to do.
    I'm not really bothered about standalone but I need VST to work.
    The Omnisphere sound-source file is 52gig

    Any HELP would be great.

    iMac 27inch (late 2012) 3.4Ghz i7, 32gig ram,
    OSX 10.12.6 Cubase Pro 10/VEP 5

    hi Gerry, i just went through that pain but im on W10 and no cubase, recheck the directions with a fine comb. your explanation is good, hopefully some mac users will chime in and recheck the obvious AV stuff

    could be anti-virus, but that wouldn't make sense since macs never get a virus.
