Well I don't know about you but I personally have all the sample libraries I need and I'm pretty much finished. Well except for the couple Orange Tree things that just dropped but after that for sure.

thats seems to be the way my sample library works, just when you think you couldn't possibly need anything else, someone drops some collection of Acid Library Cd's, or 60's drum loops, and I put another quarter in the internet meter and pull the download lever, and watch the $$$$ signs spin on the meter..

could be worse i could collect funk-0-pops, or StarWars figures, or Leggos, my shit takes very little shelf space and never needs dusting.

 

Vst are like baseball cards...I only buy them for the bubble gum.

It's almost like that saying that if you cannot be good, dress well because you may as well look good.
Collecting plugins can be a trap. In a final mix, many people have under 20 plugins they always turn to, some much less, and in mastering, less again.

 

Being the holder of not 1 but 2 marimba soundpacks while having never even installed Kontakt successfully, I must admit I giggled.
