I started a tune but not sure if It's worth building upon. I have most of the song but have just recorded the first verse. Is it worth continuing?

 

Yes, keep going, tbough the last third of the lyrics are the only ones worth keeping. The first 2/3s got you there but now you can go forward on the strength of knowledge and insight gleaned in the beginning of your journey.

The song actually changes after the first verse into more of a pop/rock style.
The start leads into a much more interesting concept.
The start is also a humanoid type alien making sense of our messed up world. Cheers SuperL

I would have to agree with you there.
Talking about Blackbird did you know that The White Album is having an overhaul by Giles Martin for it's 50th aniversary?
Just like Sgt Pepper it's having a remix and remaster. I think it is due out sometime in November.
