This should be stupid simple.


I have new icons.

They said to unzip in data folder of the roaming part of my computer (that is interesting) in the hidden folder appdata

Now I installed themes to the colorthemes folder, and np,

but for the icons, which folder in the data folder should they all go, cause unzipping and throwing them randomly all outside the folders in the data folder, no work.

Is there a way to mix and match elements of themes, cause you like the buttons of one and the menu buttons of another?

Go to C:\Users\(YOUR USER NAME)\AppData\Roaming\REAPER\Data
You will find two folders named track_icons (for use in TCP and MCP as icons for tracks) and toolbar_icons (for use in the toolbars as buttons). Copy your custom icons in the appropriate folder.

To change toolbar button:
Right-click on the empty area in the toolbar you want to customize and select "Customize toolbar..."
Select the button (action) you want to customize
Click on "Icon"
