Regarding EVI workstation, the advice given is always on P.C, and never on mac. About R2R licenses it says: "Copy the license of the" Licenses "folder to" C: \ ProgramData \ UVI \ R2R "" but this is on PC, on mac there is not this folder. ...
So what can I do to use the R2R license with my macintosh? (mac os sierra. 10.13)

I think this question concerns a lot of us who work on mac ...

Yes also Stringmachines2 and Ircam solo instrument and retro-organ-suite ( Becouse the Eminent Gt2500

Anyway, anyone manage to get the Drumulation that comes with the Emulation II to work ? They released unfortunately packed with wrong license file, it was a license for the Darklight II Soundbank.

 

All these releases work exclusively on Windows UVI Falcon R2R, being all strongly protected with iLok.

 

If I am not mistaken, I believe he means that we will see the Complete Emulation II + soon, not released on sister site, this version https://www.uvi.net/emulation-ii-plus

 

UVI Soundbank Drum Designer released. But you can't import samples? Are they serious? If it's true R2R needs look through their UVI script defence like they did with Kontakt.

 

You can't do that with legit Falcon either. R2R unlocks software, does not program it.

 

So you can not import because the script is locked or there is no such functionality?
Do we get anything besides samples because I see the DrumSequencer in the script library and can build my own sample pack?

As stated in this guide I posted, it won't. By the way, there's no reason to really keep your legit licenses when you can just generate them with UVIEMU, and then unregister them in ILOK to get an additional machine to license on anyway. Coming from someone who owns and shared multiple libs there is no risk associated to using the Falcon release, and it's a fantastic use for legit users. You can also use your ILOK licenses in the falcon release without generating any R2RUVI files so you don't have to keep using UVI Workstation, as it's just a downgrade (Kontakt Player vs Kontakt full), by setting the UseIlokLicense to 1 but keeping DumpLicense on 0

Thank you and i'm sorry but i feel like a noob because i've been away from making music due to health reasons. So i don't understand what UVIEMU means. I feel like i'm starting out again lol.

I'd rather keep my ilok intact because i also have other libraries from Synthogy on iLok....

So just to confirm and in short: If i install this and UVI Acoustic Suite and don't touch anything inside my Ilok, i'm safe? (sorry to ask again).
