Look, I did this with tutorial 1 "How to" G funk
The Synth of "Mosquito", I couldn't do it with Sytrus because I don't know how to configure the Slide in Sutio one. So use another Synth.
I have to keep practicing, but I understood the concept.
Weird things that happen. It never caught my attention so much, and now that I've seen how it's done and the "ingredients" it contains, I like it much more.

Very nice fusion. The base sounds like a classical music progression. And that hammond gives a special "touch" to the song. Like a mystery.

So Westcoast, G-Funk and Neo Soul is basically the same? Just sayin...

 

Comes All from the same Direction with Influences of Gospel, Soul, Funk, Jazz and Blues.

HipHop (Culture) Rap (Main Grene) = Westcoast Rap and G-Funk are (Sub Grenes of Rap). Soul (Main Grene) = Neo Soul (Sub Grene of Soul).

But Neo Soul is often much more complex music wise in Terms of Chords etc.

 

And you are sayin that Raphael Saadiq tops all producers of all 3 genres?

 

In my Opinion Top Producer for Neo-Soul and he could posibbly do anything.

For Westcoast there are DJ Battlecat, DJ Mustaard, Scott Storch, XL Middleton and so on.

 

But Saadiq did those very sexy Snoop Songs (starting with „midnight love“ - what was the original style that battlecat and fredwreck aimed for

 

If you’ll ever have the „joy“ of listening to a Scott Storch record before it is mixed you might regret mentioning him
