    Hi !

    I downloaded the Toscanalyzer here : http://audioz.info/audio-software/pc/36789-download_toscanalyzer-pcmac-free.html

But I receive a .Tar folder with strange files in it I don't know what to do with...

There's no explanation anywhere, neither on Audioz or the official site of the plug-in !

    Any help ?

    Thank you ;)

    Quote from original post

"It functions under Windows, Mac OS X and Linux via a Java VM"

Yep, but on Mac it seems to be Jar Launcher (An Apple version of Java)

The files are .jar, they open automatically with that Jar Launcher, but there's an error message saying it can't run it...

Their's probably a way to run it, to choose the right file or another way, don't know !

If a Mac user knows how to do it ?

    Yeah sorry I wasn't clear...

The first file I downloaded is Tar (Probably a compressed format ?)

    Then I unzip it.

A folder appears with lot of files, most of them are .jar ! But nothing seems to be an application nor installer !

Well, I'm not mac expert. But maybe you've to update the JVM in order to run the software.
According to the developer's web there's no download for Mac yet. But being OSX and stuff a 'linux modification' you may be able to run the linux version. So, I'd download the software from the developer's website and try to run it (.tar.gz)

If you still can't run it, then ask them when the mac version will come out.

    Hope it helps!
