how to use the Kontakt 4 Factory Lib in Kontakt5

    Hi Mag66,

    Same problem with my mac, everytime i restart kontakt5, i have to add kontakt4 library again and again in mainstage or standalone mode...
    How did you do exactly? Didn't found "the extra space", and all the procedure.
    Can you please help me with more details or anybody else?

    Thanks but I'm having a little trouble understanding what must be done. I'm running K5.0.3 on a mac. I downloaded and placed both files into the K4 library folder (user/shared/kontakt 4 library) but it still won't load up in K5. Do I have to rename the files? or edit something? Sorry just a little lost. Thanks.

    Someone previously asked why the Kontakt 4 library can only be opened in Demo mode in the Kontakt 5 plugin. Can someone please respond to this? I clicked "Activate" and entered my serial number of my Kontakt 4 software but it said it invalid. It definitely was valid. Thanks.

    ^ no difference about the sounds DB but,K5 library is compressed so that it is half size compared to version 4...
