Ok, solved this!
Thanks to the help of diam_triad.
I did not get the part woth the USB flash drive, i.e. I forgot to plug in a USB stick.
After I put one in, in the activation dialogue I had the choice in
Select the device you would like to activate: FlashDrive: XXX (Name)
And then I simply had to save the activation file there.
The R2R file can stay where it is, i.e.: HD/users/my username/library/application support/plugin alliance
All is fine now!

I asked a similar question days ago... you have to do an online license fro you legit product, but save it to an ext. device like usb-stick...then the cracks stay on mac hd, but you legit plug license runs from usb-stick... for me its sucks though, cuz I have 2 usb slots... one for my mouse, and the other for an ilok... so I just use my legit PA Vertigo VSM-3 with the PA license on my mac hd.

Hello, tried to put the legit license on USB asking to activate to that device - but I cannot run legit ones together with the one that is not. I do not know what I am mistaking.
Any kind help please?

You go to your Plugin Alliance account, and where you manage devices you choose the Usb device per plugin, it appears there after you open the plugin in your DAW and leave a file of your system ID on, so once you are online and authorise it it will work, the idea was so users had m ore flexibility to work on friends/studios computers and their PA plugs as well.
