I have made a drum groove in Ezdrummer 2 using EzDrummer's 2 midi library. But I love how the XLN AD 2 sounds! *yes*
I have exported my final midi drum groove but don't no how to use it with XLN AD2. Will it work fine if I just drag the midi to XLN AD2 track?
I think I will have to do some mapping changes. But I/m not sure how to do that!

    Anyone?

You should just be able to set AD2 to a new midi track then add the midi file you created in EZ2 to the new midi track like you said

    I was wondering that too.
I assume, EZD2 is a little more " intelligent" and should translate the mappings from other libraries. I mean it does analyze the grooves. But I noticed the results are always connected to the midi packs by TT.
AD2 seems usual stiff, using own mapping.
They should update their excellent EZplayer!!! Hope they will.

in ADdictive: press ? top-right. then map window. then choose GM or You can even do manual remap

You can use ezplayer too to play ez or Supperior midi files with different VST Drums. this is the easiest way.

    The other way:

Go to EZD menu and enable midi out
Now go to the Addictive track in your DAW and set midi in to EZDrummer. so any played ezdrummer file will be played in Addictive without need of remap.

The new Midi out in EZD2 is a top feature.

You could always just highlight all the hits of a given note on your sequence edit page of your DAW and drag 'em to where they're supposed to be. You can generally 'see' which hits are the kicks, snares, hats, cymbals etc just from the look of the pattern. Drag em around til they're on the correct new note for the other drum library.

Sorry dude, I'm not sure about midi mapping, i just have my own way of working which isn't very technical

I'm guessing that if you set it to midi channel 10 then it should translate automatically

But even if not, the way you said originally should still work?
