How to update Arturia Keylab MKII while having cracked arturia software [solved]

    Hey,

    I'm about to get a Keylab MKII that I want to be able to update and such, but I also have a cracked Pigments and Arturia Collection V installed.

    I read someone here once mentioned creating a separate folder for the cracked ones ("Arturia 2") or something. Has anyone tried this or some other method so I don't get my cracked ones de-authorized? Is that how the Software Center works, by scanning directories as opposed to registries?

    Better off sticking to only using the cracked libraries and avoiding installing the official software. What exactly are you looking to update that isn't available on sister site?

    I just need to update firmware. Is that just the Midi Control program, and I don't need to install the Arturia Software Center?

    That is correct. The midi control center can be installed on it's own without need for anything else and can be used to update the firmware without affecting any of the plugins.
