So, I have some 70,000 mp3 files on my music drive. Some are perfectly tagged to my liking and some are a complete botch with just a filename to identify it and no tags.

I have recently began a process to try and clean the up using mp3tag, but it's taken me 3 days to only get to about 1,600 tracks done.

I am trying to use Beatport (and Discoga where release isn't on Beatport) to manually add 800x800 jpeg artwork (to fit limitation of Pioneer DJ jog displays), add full release date (not just year), and add the record label into the "Grouping" field; obviously as well as the standard artist, track title, album artist, album title, track number, and so on. I am the renaming files using mp3tag in the format that I like.

This is already getting very laborious and tedious. Is there any way to auto tag the track in my library, which include tracks from as far back as the 1970s probably.

I see there is an option within mp3tag to tag using Discogs and Music rain, but it seems limited to artist/album title at a time.

I am just astounded that these days there isn't a tool where I can just run my entire library of 70k+ tracks against it and it will auto tag the fields I want in the format I want.

Or am I missing something or unaware of an existing tool or software that can do this?

Last used for me was Music brainz: it basically works, but don’t expect miracles, you cannot throw 70k tracks and having everything magically fixed. You have to check every album, titles, cover, cause there will be a lot of mismatch
