Yeah, I agree, guess I'm just OCD-ing over some stuff that only 9 provides me, some kind of comfort/secure place, that probably came from when I had doing work in it while having people breathing down my neck expecting fast results or just judging my every move, brainstorming with them and trying to make their vision come true, also had numerous sessions (DJ mixes, dance competition soundtrack mixes and etc) which made me fall totally in love with Logic, just because of mouse zooming, cherish every job I did outside my comfort zone which made Logic my place.of comfort, because nothing can surprise me anymore, being that throwing stems for mixing and getting all cleaned&rough out so fast to actually making full blown DJ set's with bunch of improvised things with audio editing and effects automation.

So yeah, guess not having everything exactly how it was is freaking me out on some level, not having same colors, not seeing same looped regions, not seeing whole arrangement the same, seeing toolbar upside, zooming way more into elements and so on, but that's just X, I'm freaking out every day trying to work with Reaper, guess I need to throw myself in similar fire/situations and somehow survive and stand up stronger or just buy a freaking Mac...:dunno:

You could buy a pc and turn it dual boot with Win and OSX. Nowdays it's very easy to get a fully working hackintosh.

Why not buy an actual Mac than? :dunno:

Was rocking hackintosh on this machine with bunch of warez in whole "try before buy" spirit and now it came time for buying and I'm on XP with Reaper, go figure

Wish I just bought Mini back than, they were the same price, but who would know... :dunno:

Why now not turning to hack again, because I'm hoping something will happen soon on that matter and giving Reaper more chance in the meantime, guy I'm working with/for set his eyes on Macbook and I'm trying to squeeze a Mac Pro instead to work on, but it's crazy times with trials, funerals and all overall chaos here, gotta hear today is he convicted and should go to prison or what, his father died like two weeks ago, crazy stuff, others from that crew all waiting trials, few funerals there, crazy stuff, so yeah. :woot:

Also, sorry dim this went little south

its very cheap do a machine with 12 core at 4.5 GHz.
The problem with new Mac pro is that you depend on thunferbolth only for expansions and the thunferbolth is really expensive... No cuida power here.
The old Mac pro only have 4 pcie, one for the video... A joke. It will only work for cuda if you flash an old video Card ir pay your eyes for one Mac version...
Everything outside the Apple world is cheap, upgradable and Flexible...

Great tips, I for sure agree on that, but as I never got my current machine on knees (i5 2500k, 4GB RAM) when I was actually doing more demanding and bigger projects, anything more than that would be overkill even now, I actually set my eyes on very cheap (300 euros) second hand Mac Pro (Xeon Quad 2,66 one with 5GB's of RAM), enough for tracking and producing&mixing with mostly stock plugins, hip hop projects, maximum of 40 tracks sessions, probably gonna run 10.6.8 on it too, but saw some EFI trick to even run Mavericks, that's cool too if some plugins demand it:thumbsup:
