How to speed up synths or drums like in lot of songs?
    For example
--> they start from i Kick (i think so), and they increase the speed of the track until they get that sound
    or

    or else

I am trying to come up with the generic method, I think they used different specific ways to get those sounds! Thanks!

Use a granulizer on a sample kick, and make the final sped up sound tuned to a key at its final result, then bounce it out if you need too

simply by looping the sample and half the selection of the loop until you are in the realm of granular synthersis
use a sampler and automate the loop point

This is quite simple to achieve (relatively). Modulate loop end point of a kick drum sample (any sampler).

Or you can assign an envelope to modulate the loop end point.

Export the audio when it's at its shortest loop section (where it has a clear pitch) and throw that into a new sampler. Play a melody with that (looped) sample.

2 and 3 are squares imo, but for the 1st sound just do what they did

This is how they did it: use a sampler (Phalanx or Ableton Sampler with a Arpeggiator before Live Sampler). Play a long note (chord) and use Retrigger in Phalanx or Arp in Live with free mode (not note division) to accelerate the start of the sound thus having the pitch higher and higher. When the repeated sound reaches the climax note, get a slice of that audio, load it into a new sampler and play the notes.

Why do something that has already been done. Ah, must be a poser.

As long as he puts his spin on it to make it unique.
Its okay to recycle. But just like real recycling, make something different and new out of it.

to complicated you screw up everything in your arrangement and you have to fiddle to much, they used a sampler and just automated the internal settings to get a granular sound of it in the end, its a quite easy trick, but has such a great effect on a track.

not helpful but funny :D for me its the best answer.
