Hey guys I'm looking into getting a pair of beyerdynamic dt 990 pro's and I was wondering how to set it up with my saffire pro 40? I know I need a headphone amp, could you guys recommend one? And how do I go about getting the signal from my computer to route the output to the headphone amp? I'm using pro tools and it only allows for the use of one device at a time. meaning i can only use the saffire pro 40 and not another dedicated device. Do I route the audio comming out of my saffire pro 40's outputs to the headphone amp and then to my headphones? is there a was to use spdif with this? thanks guys yoou are great!!

 

Analog is easiest. You use the headphone out jack or the left out right out jacks-cable it to the input on the headphone amp. Might have to go from a stereo 1/4"TRS to two mono left right inputs if using the headphone out. I use PreSonus HP-4.
