How to send a mp3 as a voicemail

    Anybody know how I can send a song directly into someone voicemail, I've been searching for a while, and couldn't come up with anything. Would greatly appreciate if someone knew how to do this.

    Most cellphone providers don't allow a 3rd party sending to VM directly.

    The ones that do, often don't document it. Because of lack of interest, or chances for abuse.

    What you have in mind, might be seen as abuse, if you'd send that song to many users who didn't ask for it.

    Then there's the problem that it's VOICE mail. A song might sound weird on that recording system. No stereo, only about 5 kHz bandwidth...

    You can hear that when connected to a waiting system that's not bandwidth limited. Awful sound artefacts come and go. Makes me wanna hang up every time.

    I used to be able to do this with Google Talk. What about something like Skype or Zoom with Voicemeeter or Virtual Audio Cables?

    Wouldn't the hardest part be making sure they don't actually pick up? :)
