So a few days ago i cracked battery 4 from audioz and i still can't find a solution on how to activate it/run the keygen. In the R2R folder there is a hosts file, Native.Instruments.Battery.4.v4.1.6.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R(.nfo) file,
NativeInstruments_Keygen_Battery_4.1.6_FiX(.cmd) file and R2R_IS_AGAINST_BUSINESS_WAREZ_170811(.cmd and .txt) file. It might be a noob question but it's my first time doing this and tbh i am quite lost and i can't find a solution anywhere. If you need to know anything more just ask. Thanks!

 

Open the .nfo file with a text editor of your choice, I prefer using NotePad++ but the regular Notepad should suffice.
In there it should say what steps you need to take to use Battery 4, be it just install or install and run keygen/fix file.

Judging from a .cmd file being present that has "fix" in the title I suggest running that via double-click or CLI (Windows key -> cmd.exe) after you install Battery 4.

If that does it, then congratz. Otherwise your Windows defender or another antivirus might have "eaten" the actual keygen executable in which case you might need to unpack the archive you downloaded again and make an exception in those programs to exclude the folder from getting scanned.

.cmd file has to be run as administrator, otherwise it won't change the hosts file.

 

1.) NFO
Download and install the free "DAMN_NFO_Viewer_v2.10.0031.RC3_Setup"
https://damn-nfo-viewer.de.softonic.com/download
Then you only ever need to click on the included NFO and then you can read the installation instructions.

2.) Host Patch
Click with the right mouse button on the host file, a pop-up menu will open, click there as "Run as administrator".
The host file will be executed automatically and you only have to press Enter at the end of the process.

yeah i've tried it but it always just sais:
"F:\Plugins\Battery 4\R2R\NativeInstruments_Keygen.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

My hosts file is just a file so i can't even run it as an administrator (i can just open it in notepad). Am I looking at the wrong hosts file maybe?

 

Hi @BeastyRice, in Windows 10, the hosts file can be found under %windir%\system32\drivers\etc.

I would recommend you to install a newer version, you don't need to change anything in the hosts file either.

Why just use latest version from R2R that no need to edit host file.

1.) Deactivate your antivirus software
2.) just uninstall the old one and it'll work (wasnt mentioned in the nfo)

3.) In the download you will find the file: R2R_IS_AGAINST_BUSINESS_WAREZ_170811
- Click with the right mouse button on the , a pop-up menu will open, click there as "Run as administrator".

4.) Add it to the Host File (%windir%\system32\drivers\etc):
127.0.0.1 www.r2rdownload.com
127.0.0.1 www.elephantafiles.com

5.) Install the " Battery 4 4.1.6 Setup PC"
6.) And then use the keygen included in the release to activate.
