I currently have some nonsense addresses in the plugins search path of FL. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? Those folders don't even exist on my system. Thanks in advance. Win 10 FL 24.1.2

Those aren't nonsense paths. They are default paths, like all VST3s are stored or referenced in that Common Files folder. You may remove the ones added by you but not those in the image you added. The default paths cannot be removed.

True. I understand that part and it normally pertains to the typical folders listed, but these other folders do not even exist on my system at all. The ones I am talking bout are the greyed out locations (in the image), or the unchecked ones. I cannot remove them by normal means sadly.

Open Regedit or any other registry editor (I recommend TorchSoft Registry Workshop)

    and go to:
    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Image-Line\Shared\Plugin search paths
    and
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Image-Line\Shared\Plugin search paths
In the sub keys you can find all the paths.

I'd suggest to export the "Image-Line" key first as a backup
and then you can start deleting the keys with the numbers that contain the wrong paths.
If anything goes wrong, import the backed up key again.

In my case, key "8" is the one with the "Plugins\VST" folder.

Since "%FLPath%" should be the folder (if I'm not wrong) defined in
    Code:
    \Software\Image-Line\Shared\Paths -> FL Studio
you also could try editing this key with the correct path so FL searches there.

For example you've installed your current FL Studio to D:\Audio\FL Studio, edit the path from
    C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 2024\FL64.exe
    to
    D:\Audio\FL Studio\FL64.exe
    in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER

FL Studio should then look for the "Plugins\VST" folder in D:\Audio\FL Studio

Thank you very much. This was exactly what I needed. It got rid of all the weird addresses. Again, thank you!
