    Hello buddies :)

Can you give me some advice on how to make this effect on the pad sound?
    Is it X-Trem and/or Rotor?

It's already at the very beginning of the track.

    Thanks and best regards

If you are using FLstudio then Grossbeat can do it. It already contains cool volume/time presets

It s s an lfo thats modulate a low pass filter. Every synth or sampler can do that. You can use your DAW automation to vary the frequency to get the effect you want if you can’t do that just with your synth.

it's a gating triggered by an LFO of some sort as stated, possibly with lowpass filter as stated
I dont know your daw many of the most popular has stock plugins that can make the job

anyhow here's an useful free plugin that can make a gate effect triggered by midi notes
    https://dotec-audio.com/deemute.html
it's very easy to use and works flawlessly

you insert it on the track you need, then open a midi track and point it to the plugin. Then open the pianoroll on the midi track and you can play with your keyboard or program notes roll.

you can add a lowpass filter if needed

If its that warble effect you mean then its a LFO on a varying speed. You just need to modulate LFO rate with ADSR envelope. And the LFO of course should be assigned to filter.

Thank you for your great support!

I don't know why my signature isn't shown here.
My DAW is Studio One 6 and my OS Windows 10 64 Bit Pro.

Ok, I will check your tipps our.
I also have FabFilter Volcano 3, which also seems to be able to reproduce this effect.
I guess it's important to work with automation because apparently the LFO mod steps vary.
(From high to low, e.g. something like 1/16 to 1/2)

    Best regards

Tremolo (sine-wave volume modulation). Modulate/automate the rate.

Or...sine LFO assigned to volume (or lowpass filter cutoff). Modulate/automate the rate of the LFO.

    Hey guys,

really funny: I think I found the exact same sound by accident.
    How high is that chance?
    0,00001%? :O

Anyway, it is "Native Instruments Massive" and the preset is "Thriller".
However, I need to modify it because it sounds as it plays chords by default even though I press only 1 key.

I would like to modify it that it only sounds 1 tone and I can play my own chords but still having this nice lfo mod effect.
    I've already set the OSC1 pitch from 4 to 0 and OSC3 pitch from 7 to 12,
but it still does not sound harmonic.

    Can you help me, please?
    Thanks and best regards!

Color wavetale in Massive is more of an effect rather than a tonal sound, its a chord in itself, try to exchange that wavetale for another, like organ-ish sounding one (Additive... (any of them), Duckorgan and so on)
