Hi there.
I guess everybody has noticed some time or another how if you place a cellphone near a loudspeaker, you get a rhythmical interference noise. I am pretty sure I've heard Jean-Michel Jarre use it in one of his tracks (I'm not sure, but I think it was in the "Metamorphoses" album - I forget which track).

I would like to play around with a sound like that in order to create a rhythmical pattern or texture. I found some cellphone noise samples online, but they weren't "clean" enough. So... has anybody got a clean sample of that particular noise. And if not, does anybody know what would be a good way to synthesize a similar noise? I own registered copies of several softsynths (Serum, Spire and Discovery DSP Pro). If I had samples of those buzzes and clicks separately, I could easily create a rhythmical stuttering pattern in iZotope BreakTweaker...

You can use good ol' Speakerphone or whatev. There's an old version by AiR (1.03) floating around in the ether? Simulates a load of fone type interference / speakers etcs.

USA ringtones are 2 sinewaves at different freq combined.. Use Fm8 or any other synth to emulate that if you need to. Not sure if you needed this also... http://www.tech-faq.com/frequencies-of-the-telephone-tones.html
