    but the link for the "how to" is dead ...

    Here, suefreeman - I see that this exact page is not online anymore, but thanks I'd downloaded it when it was -:

    Looked like this =>

    [IMG]

    As the librairies are 'here' on my drive E, we do :

    [IMG]

    So here is the code - change your drive letter and/or destination folder, and copy/paste - :

    sound,E:/XLN Audio/Addictive Keys/Sound Data/

    VoilĂ  *yes*.

    This DOES NOT work on the Mac side! Anyone have success moving their libraries and have them work?

    For Mac the easiest way is to create Symbolic Links (NOT Aliases!). In terminal type:

    sudo ln -s /path/to/source /path/to/destination

    This will create a hard link to the source and leave a small alias look-alike file in the original location.

    This is a great solution for plugins that demand their components and libraries be placed in a specific location. Some plugins like reFX Nexus and Camel Audio Alchemy don't care where you put the folders and they simply asked you where the folders are located on first launch. But other plug-ins like Sylenth and various Logic X libraries require symbolic links if you want to move the libraries and components to permanent destinations for easy and quick re-installs and lower disk space requirements (Once the library is in a permanent location no need to drag around the redundant installers iso's, dmg's).
