    Hi,
searching for a similar kind of stab-chord but can't find similar.
But how does he made this stab sound?
I think there is an lowpass filter on the envelope starting very low but raising very fast with a bit reso?
Hmmm, but which chord did he used? And which effects make it sounds so damn good?
    Maybe a dub-delay with a bit reverb?

You can hear the main stab theme @2:16

    In Serum:
1.Choose a sawtooth or square wave in Osc2 (mute it). Assign the FM from Osc2 in Osc1.
    2.Tune the osc's to make a chord. -7 -5 +3 +4 +5 +7 semitones
3.Assign a mod envelope to the lowpass cutoff. Make the ADSR envelope very short.
4.Scroll through different wavetables to get the desired character.
    5.Experiment. Enjoy

    Hi saltwater,
this sounds very nice. How did you made this sound? Is it a sample or did you used Serum like relexted described it?

Cool, that is what I'm looking for! I don't own Serum, but I will try it with my new synth: Novation Peak :)
I'm still relatively new to sound synthesis. Thanks relexted :like:

Ha ha, yes. I watched it and it like these kind of stab sounds. First heard in a live set of Detroit Swindle.
This is a very simple track, no vocals, no big builds or drops, nothing special. But with this simple theme
with a nice delay on it, it works very nice. I have to check out other tracks from Sven.

I have to admit , i slept on sven tasnadi . I knew his name but never gave it a deeper listining. After the Musikschule i checked out some tracks from him, and i really liked a lot of them, in particular the one you asked for.
BTW : Have a lot of fun with your new Peak!

this is just a random synth, i took Tal-uno-LX in this case.

they key for this type of sounds is the extreme resonance setting:

if you have no luck with your PEAK, try a plugin. maybe plugins are better suited for this type of sound, because more artifacts
its pretty easy to find the cutoff sweet spot where it starts to get nasty, this is what we want.:hillbilly:
then just apply some cutoff automation around that spot, usually a tiny area.
the higher the resonance setting, the more nastiness/artifacts you get, and the tinier the spot.
    adjust to your liking.
its advisable to turn your volume WAY down before doing this :speaker::phunk:
this will work with pretty much any synth sound.

afterwards we need some saturation/distortion, FabFilter Saturn works well, just try the presets or experiment on your own.

then a bitcrusher, Decimort is king here imo

as last we use a send stereo delay with the following setting:

sd.png i found 6 + 3 is key to get close to your example, adjust Feedback to your liking, 25% worked well at 125 bpm.
this all certainly depends on your send level, i had it at 70%.

clipping between the chain can be desirable sometimes in this situation, but afterwards
apply compressors/limiter EQ to tame the usually extreme results.

    Thanks saltwater for this description!!
First tried to replicate your mp3 example with TAL-uno-LX but sounds still not 100% like yours.
    Will give it another try...
