Can anyone help me out in making these glitchy little bleeps and bloop noises heard sporadically over the course of the track and especially after 1.25 mins and 3.10 mins. My synth programming skills are still pretty basic and I know these guys use a variety of vintage synths like Roland SH-101, Juno 60 and Korg Ms-20 and Prophet 08 (all of which I have VST equivalents thanks to AudioZ)

You can make any synth arp/arpeggiate (with fast midi, or stand-alone arpeggiator). It's not really what synth you use, but how you program it to behave and tweak/process the sound. You can go far with simple waveforms.

Some Synths even have arpaggiator built in. Also, check out some free "chiptune synths":

Like Baxter said : chiptune synths.
Almost all are free, BTW.

IceCream is very effective and simple to use

 

The quickest & most elegant way would probably be Plogue Chiptunes.
