I'm sorry for linkin' something from playboy... But.... I'd like to know how to achieve/design that amazing "intro" bass sound...

Stacked saws spread across three octaves or so. Some detuning/unison (on the two top oscillators). Some pitchbend (or portamento/glide automation).

I would call it a lead, not a bass. Even though you can stack oscillators down below (try sine if you want it to be a "bass").

what synth are you using?
I may have a preset that you could deconstruct.
I find that a good way to learn new sounds and techniques
then personalize

does sound like a basic supersaw though, maybe youtube supersaw tutorial.

 

You can make a saw like this in no time with Sylenth1. try to stack multiple saws and a square oscilator as well.
And we don't mind the playgirls ;)

 

I'd prob add a slight pitch drop on the square/pulse as well as cutoff a/b

First of all, thanks u all for the answers... I usually design some complex sounds, but that one sounds so simple (like layering of undetuned saws), but it's a bit tricky as well...

Agree, a slight pitch drop seems to be the way, low detune and the right phase might help too... I'm gonna try that for sure ;)
