how to make "growl" Psytrance effect?

    Always been wondering how to get the growl like chanting sound in a lot of Psytrance and Psybient.

    Specifically this type of sound:

    On the 1:47 there's some sort of "Mongolian style" low vocal pad going. We're talking about the same sound? If so I think you can find those style vocals on Strezov Jade Orchestra for Kontakt or Omnisphere factory library.

    You mean the didgeridoo sound? The monks are hardly "growly". :D

    It's throat singing. First low variance, then shortly high variance. One makes it with their throat.
    An elaborate tutorial would be nice, indeed. Don't know of any myself.
