This guy (Ben Prestage) really knows how to play a cigar box guitar. I saw him once 12-15 years ago in a small venue.

When I was about 14 my friend had an electric guitar and an amp. You plugged the amp into the electrical outlet but the guitar needed no power. I wanted to play keyboards and I bought my first synth, a Roland SH-3A. I had an amp. I plugged the synth into the amp and as the Roland manual said, "wait five minutes before tuning your keyboard" I sat there in anticipation. Exactly five minutes later I pressed a key, nothing happened. Maybe it needs another five minutes. I turned the amp up a bit more and tried again. Nothing. Just my luck. It was faulty. My mother asked if I had plugged it in to the power outlet. "It doesn't need it, it's like an electric guitar" She snatched the manual out of my hands and pointed to page one. "Plug your synthesiser into a power outlet" I never thought I would need technical advice from my mother.
