How to make a sort of tesla coil/electricity sound

    You mean those fast transients, or the "electric" drone?

    For the snaps/transients, try fast filter envelopes (lowpass, bandpass) or noise oscillator(s).

    For the coil sound, it's more a matter of volume envelope (tempo-synced tremolo or LFOs cotrolling amplitude). 16th-note tremolo and 4th-note tremolo. The "coil sound" underneath could be some noise-ish sound with a fixed flanger in it.

    As a master of Surge (since 2008) I can also vouch for it.
