Hey guys im a producin student in music school for a while and also a big fan of dream pop indie kind of music..
Lately im struggeling to find the guitar tone i want
I tried guitar rig and bias fx and bias amp/pedal
And still didnt come up with the sound i wanted it to be... Maybe i need to use mixing techniques?
I really hope u guys will tell me

I got all the parts recorded and arranged but the sound is not like i want it and couldnt find a guide in the web so i was hoping u guys can help me

Do you have Blackhole? You might be able to pull it off by adding that into your chain.

I usually use blackhole on a send, but go ahead an experiment. It's the only way you are really going to get to explore your own sound.

Get a decent sound in whatever plugin you are using like bias and once you have a solid sound add blackhole and start tweaking. Maybe also a subtle phaser in the background will help get the sound you are looking for. I say subtle because you really don't want that to be obvious or it will be too much and get in the way.

 

Search how to double track guitars

 

Stereo chorus, phaser and doubletracked guitars (or a combination of those). Start with stereo chorus.
