How is everyone doing? I have a semi complicated question. How to make a cymbal mute in Kontakt. Ok so I know some libraries already have it pre-programmed, or scripted, to mute the cymbal that is ringing when you perform a mute on edrums. Ok, I know the Abby Road libraries do this and a few others. I was wondering for like Mixosaurus KitA or any Analogue Drums, that don't have a cymbal choke scripted, or even if I imported my own samples.
I have a two zone electronic cymbal meaning it is able to be muted. So I hit the said cymbal, cymbal noise rings out, then I perform mute and you hear mute sound but it doesn't cancel out the ringing cymbal, it continues to ring. So I want to know how to manually, program or script a mute to cancel the ringing cymbal. To choke the cymbal off when the mute is performed.
