How can I make this kind of bassline?

It really starts from 0:40 and then there are some subtly changes starting from 0:46 and then later - after kind of a break - it's coming in very nicely 2:05 and at the end of the track it's probably good to hear how it's done.
I guess a delay wouldn't be so wrong to achieve it, no?
Is this kind of bassline made with an arpeggiator or 'just' programming?

Well, any hint is much appreciated!

Hmmm.. No one? Maybe the "special one" could have told me how to make such a bass, but..;-)
Or maybe - it's too hard to do.. or too easy??

Anyway, a nice weekend to all musiclovers

to me it sounds like its made on a old synth. probably are arp playing and then resampled and whent to town with eq/delay to make really lockit in.

the 2nd part, it sounds like they just added another layer(s) of sound to help the sound evolve.

oddly there are no env/lfo/filter change at all on that synthriff. :)
