Perhaps AI can help you @Jjccjjs:
    Understanding the Issue
It sounds frustrating— you've installed Flux:: Analyzer (from flux.audio) as a VST plugin, but it's not showing up in Cubase 14 Pro's plugin menu or insert slots. Based on the details (Apple M1 Mac, VST format, and your Google searches mentioning "Flux VSTI" which likely refers to Cubase's built-in Flux wavetable synth in HALion Sonic SE, not the third-party analyzer), this is a common problem with third-party VST plugins in Cubase 14, especially on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) hardware.

Cubase 14 has shifted heavily toward VST3 format support and disables VST2 by default for performance and stability reasons. Flux:: Analyzer is available in VST3 format and is compatible with Apple Silicon (native ARM64 builds), but it often requires manual rescanning in Cubase's Plugin Manager or addressing path/scanning issues. If it's a VST2 version, it may not load natively on M1 without workarounds. Flux:: also notes that if plugins don't appear post-install, it's usually a DAW scanning glitch.

No widespread "Flux:: Analyzer-specific" bugs with Cubase 14 were found, but general VST loading issues are rampant in forums (e.g., Steinberg's own). Here's a step-by-step fix—start with the simplest and work down.

Step 1: Verify Installation and Format
    1. Check if it's VST3:
      • On your Mac, go to Finder > Go > Go to Folder and enter ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 (user level) or /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 (system-wide).
      • Look for files like FLUX Analyzer.vst3 (or similar; it might be named PureAnalyzer.vst3 depending on the edition).
      • If you only see .vst (VST2), redownload from flux.audio—ensure you select the VST3 version during install. Flux:: provides both, but VST3 is required for native M1 support in Cubase 14.
    2. Reinstall if Needed:
      • Uninstall via Flux::'s uninstaller (in Applications > Flux or via their app).
      • Download the latest from https://www.flux.audio/flux-analyzer-en/ (log in to your account for the full version).
      • Install, selecting VST3 and Apple Silicon options. Restart your Mac after.
Step 2: Enable and Rescan in Cubase Plugin Manager
Cubase 14 doesn't auto-scan everything on startup, especially if paths aren't set or it's blacklisted.

    1. Open Cubase 14 Pro.
    2. Go to Studio > VST Plug-in Manager (or search "Plugin Manager" in the menu).
    3. Check Paths:
      • Under "VST3 Plug-in Paths," ensure ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 are listed. If not, click the + button to add them.
      • If using VST2 (not recommended), click the small VST2.x Support button (bottom-left, looks like a toggle—it's off by default). But on M1 native mode, VST2 won't work without Rosetta (see Step 4).
    4. Rescan:
      • Select "Rescan" or click the refresh icon (circular arrow) next to the paths.
      • Wait for the scan to finish (it may take 5–10 minutes on first run; if it hangs, see troubleshooting below).
      • Search for "Flux" or "Analyzer" in the list. If it appears but is grayed out/blacklisted:
        • Right-click it > Remove from Blacklist.
        • Rescan again.
    5. Close/reopen Cubase. Now try inserting it: On a track, click the Inserts slot > Other > FX > look under "VST3" for Flux:: Analyzer.
Step 3: Clear Caches and Preferences (If Still Not Appearing)
Corrupted caches often cause "ghost" missing plugins.

    1. Quit Cubase.
    2. In Finder, go to ~/Library/Preferences (use Go > Go to Folder).
    3. Find and trash these folders/files (back them up first if paranoid):
      • com.steinberg.cubase14.plist
      • Cubase 14 folder (or similar; this resets prefs).
      • Inside ~/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Cubase 14/ (if exists), delete VST3 Cache folder.
    4. Empty Trash, restart Mac, relaunch Cubase—it'll rebuild prefs and rescan plugins automatically.
    5. If Flux:: has its own cache: Check Flux:: docs or app settings for a "Reset" option.
Step 4: Rosetta Mode (If It's VST2 or Still Fails)
Cubase 14 native (ARM) ignores VST2 entirely on M1. Flux:: is native VST3, but if yours is older/VST2:

    1. In Finder, right-click Cubase 14 Pro.app (in Applications) > Get Info.
    2. Check the box for Open using Rosetta.
    3. Relaunch Cubase—it'll run in Intel emulation (slightly slower, but enables legacy VST2).
    4. Repeat Step 2's rescan. (Revert to native after confirming it works, then switch to VST3.)
    Troubleshooting Common Hiccups

    Issue Likely Cause Quick Fix
    Scan hangs forever
Bad plugin or too many paths Hold Option while launching Cubase > select "Safe Mode" to skip scan. Or temporarily move suspect plugins out of folders.
Not in list after rescan Wrong install path Flux:: installs to standard macOS VST3—double-check with Activity Monitor (search for "FLUX" while scanning).
Crashes on load Incompatibility Update Cubase to latest 14.x via Steinberg Download Assistant. Check Flux:: for M1-specific updates (they're current as of 2025).
Shows but won't open License/iLok issue Flux:: uses PACE/iLok—ensure activation in their Control Panel app. Run as admin if needed.
Only sees Cubase's Flux synth Search confusion Ignore— that's HALion's built-in instrument, not your analyzer. Search "PureAnalyzer" or exact name.

    Next Steps If This Fails
    • Contact Support: Email Flux:: at [email protected] with your OS/version details, Cubase version, and screenshots of Plugin Manager. Or post on Steinberg Forums (forums.steinberg.net) in the Cubase 14 section—mention "Flux:: Analyzer VST3 M1 not scanning."
    • Test in Another DAW: Try loading in GarageBand or Logic (free on Mac) to isolate if it's Cubase-specific.
    • Alternatives: If urgent, Cubase 14 Pro has excellent built-ins like SuperVision (under Inserts > FX > Metering)—it's a full analyzer suite inspired by Flux::, with spectrum, vectorscope, etc. Many pros prefer it over third-party now.
This should get it working—90% of similar cases resolve with rescanning or paths. Let me know what happens after trying Step 2!

The FLUX:: Analyzer Essential and FLUX:: Session Analyzer are stand-alone applications, not traditional plugins that load directly within your DAW or host software. They receive audio data from your DAW via a companion plugin called SampleGrabber, which is installed automatically alongside the analyzer apps (in AU, VST, and AAX formats) when you install through FLUX:: Center. This setup allows real-time analysis locally (on the same machine) or over a network.

Steps to Locate and Use SampleGrabber in Your DAW
    1. Ensure Installation:
      • Download and install the analyzer apps via FLUX:: Center (FLUX::'s license and installer manager). During setup, enable the relevant plugin formats (AU/VST/AAX) in Center Preferences > Install Options to auto-install SampleGrabber.
    2. Scan for Plugins in Your DAW:
      • Rescan your DAW's plugin folders (e.g., in Ableton Live: Preferences > Plug-Ins > Rescan; in Logic Pro: Preferences > Audio Units Manager > Rescan; in Pro Tools: Setup > Preferences > Plug-Ins > Rescan).
      • If it doesn't appear, check your DAW's plugin paths match FLUX::'s defaults:
        • macOS:
          • AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
          • VST: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
          • VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
        • Windows:
          • VST: C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\ or C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins\
          • VST3: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
          • AAX: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\
    3. Insert SampleGrabber:
      • Load it on a track, bus, or master channel in your DAW (it appears under "FLUX::" or "SampleGrabber" in the plugin menu).
      • Play audio in your DAW—SampleGrabber will "grab" the signal and broadcast it via network (using ZeroConf/Bonjour protocol, ports 46000–46064; ensure firewall allows UDP access).
    4. Connect to the Analyzer App:
      • Launch the stand-alone FLUX:: Analyzer Essential or Session Analyzer app.
      • In the app's IO/Source menu, select your SampleGrabber instance (it auto-discovers on the network).
      • Audio will now stream to the analyzer for real-time metering, spectrum analysis, etc.
    Troubleshooting
    • No Signal/Discovery Issues: Play audio first, restart your DAW/app, or check firewall/network settings. Reinstall via FLUX:: Center if needed.
    • Pro Tools Specific: Use Pro Tools Audio Bridge (macOS only) as an alternative routing method without SampleGrabber.
    • For full details, refer to the FLUX:: Analyzer User Manual or FLUX:: support.
If SampleGrabber still isn't visible after rescanning, provide your DAW/OS details for more targeted help.
