I got Behringer UMC22 recently and tried to find a driver, but I was able to find only Asio4All driver. I installed it, but my DAW, Studio One 4, doesn't recognize the device. How to figure it out?



My laptop spec is below:

CPU: i7 6700HQ

RAM: 16GB

SSD: 128GB

HHD: 1TB

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

 

If Asio drivers are not pre-installed you can grab Asio4All v2.14 from related web page

 

yea it's cheap ass shit, so there is no native hardware ASIO acceleration,
you need to set up ASIO4ALL driver to actually use your UMC22, so then DAW can make use of its inputs/outputs

 

I just found that I had to install the driver at the Device Manager. The problem is that the device is on and off randomly. The lastest driver is from 2009. OMG. No wonder.

 

you didnt do any research before buying?

 

is this the umc22 or umc202hd? try the umc202hd driver

That was a good idea. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

Are you sure, as I have had no problem with this driver, it is an older version but it works.

 

disable usb power managements on usb devices via windows power options and via device manager./ right click usb / properties and disable usb power management . that could help. also try a different usb cable and different usb port.

check how many usb ports/ usb hubs are being used. could be a usb power drop out. maybe too may usb devices and not enough juice to power them hence the sudden power loss/ disconnection? just an idea.

But i would try downloading the All Software for Windows or All Software for Mac
supposed to have all software and drivers inside
Was really cheap at my local store and that the reason why i didnt buy it... good luck
