    Hello Forum,
is it possible to install NI Kontakt libraries on legit Kontakt? I mean libraries from Native Instruments which come from AudioZ.
I guess it is not possible to add them to Native Access right?
How do I get them into legit Kontakt? Should I handle them like 3rd party libraries?
    Thank you!

Thanks for the info. I tried that already, but the latest version from Bob Dule is crashing in legit Cubase 12. I wanted to have the latest version of Kontakt, but R2R seems to make problems by some users as well.

Did you try the portable version, if you're on Windows? (instead of the installed version)

I am a legit Kontakt owner (Komplete, even), and have been using the portable version by vkDanilov alongside it for quite a while now. Never a problem. Works fantastically, pretty easy to work with. Install is really simple.. all it does is extract to somewhere. When a new version comes out, you extract overtop of the old one, and you're done.

Search up kontakt 6.7.1 portable on sister site and try the first (only) result. Extract anywhere (somewhere that makes sense, as it will be a permanent location), then ensure Cubase is scanning blah\Kontakt\x64\VST and blah\Kontakt\x64\VST3 folders

Replace blah with actual location of where you extracted Kontakt portable. There's a readme in these folders too for help with figuring things out.

R2R is of course fantastic, but not when it comes to Kontakt, from what I've seen from others... so avoid them for Kontakt.

People have already correctly answered this for you. Use legit Kontakt for "legit" libraries only.

You need both Kontakt 5 and 6 installed.

Assuming the library you wish to add possesses either a .nicnt or .nxk file, you can bypass Native Access by legitimately adding the library through Kontakt 5. Afterwards, start Kontakt 6 and the added libraries will be shown.

The best thing to do is to read through this thread, where Bob explains what the contact release is all about.

You need kontakt version 5.6.0 to add the libraries, then just open kontakt 6 and the library will be there but it will appear in demo mode you can use it for 30 minutes

all you need to add a library is a regedit location defined

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\YOUR LIBRARY
ContentDir C:\Users\Public\Documents\YOUR LIBRARY or anywhere else.

about crash they added new issues:
actually the 6.8.0 beta crash on loading librairies using the integrated FX
it also need vcruntime140_1.dll in windows. the dll can be placed near Kontakt exe instead of windows system 32
it show an empty gui on some windows 10 machines.

the D:\jws\52b91e-0\sources\libs\nilibs\gp\src\Common\Init_GP.cpp error tell that Native Access is not present, a check is done.
Native access files (1 or 2) can also be placed manually here C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Native Access.
without the need of install it.

it is also good to open native access sometime to make the new libraries seen by kontakt. by updating NativeAccess.xml in service center.
