hi , how do you get such a realistic guitar with a VST ?
Which VST or Kontakt library is suitable for this ?
Do you think that real guitars were used here ?

I would also like to make such a Spanish/Latin inspired beat, I try it again and again, but unfortunately never with the desired result.
It never sounds so real and somehow it never has the Spanish/Latin flair.

    How would you proceed ?

Well, you could start listening to the music you're trying to understand and reproduce in the first place? Ample Sound AGL could potentially get your closer to the quality in the videos.

first they are 2 types of guitars that are mixed up by people as "spanish guitars".
a true spanish guitar has a raised or arched (not flat) top and "F" clef holes in either side, it usually has steel strings and a compensated bridge/saddle. it can look like this: (these were frequently used in orchestas to allow the guitar to be loud enough to be heard over the rest of the orchestra.)

Then there is the "classical guitar" which has a flat top, a straight bridge/saddle(non-compensated) and usually has nylon and/or wirewound over a nylon core (or other core) - so strings like this for example

Classic N Series from Thomastik-Infeld are
heavy duty nylon strings. The bass E and A are chrome steel flat wound. The treble strings are made of selected nylon. Classic N Series are easy to play and give the player a high-quality classical guitar strings at a budget price.
    Gauges: .027 - .031 - .039 - .030 - .035 - .045

and they are used on guitars like this yamaha

The strings are tied to the bridge which subtly influences how they vibrate the guitar body. The fingering styles of the player are different when playing "spanish style/flamenco/etc" guitar, which may be played on any style of guitar including electric.

Usually a pick is not used in flamenco or spanish style of guitar playing..(but can be if the guitarist wishes it)

so 3 main influences on spanish guitar style, the actual type of strings, the actual type of instrument, and the actual players style of fingering the notes and chords, often the strings are played with a combination of plucking strings together and striking or strumming the strings with the nails of the players hand, muting of the notes is done with the fingers and the entire hand as well as striking the body of the guitar occasionally.

so you can see spanish guitar can be a complicated sound that combines many factors to acheive a complementary style for a composition.

Now add in production and mastering, frequently reverb is added to give a dramatic depth to the sound and portions or the entire melody can be doubled on either the same guitar or a different guitar giving yet more subtle variations to the sound being created.

so it is a more complicated thing then one might think from looking at a dusty chap with a worn guitar playing in a corner of a cantina. Your best bet? start collecting samples of the sounds that interest you, then find a musician who can play in the style you are attracted to, then suggest ideas to him/her and work together to build a song that pleases you both.

    good luck..
