And why does everybody want to contact scene groups?

 

I didn't know that. And I want to contact a scene because , well, I have something a team might want to take a 'crack' at.

It was a time (certainly some 'Teams' still do it) where 'Teams' interested by getting 'legitimate' versions of apps, progs, plugins,... for the purpose you're looking for, left their e-mail contact addresses within their provided '.nfo' that you can find inside each of their releases.
Maybe it could be a good starting point for you to check some of the recent '.nfo' to be aware of which 'Teams' may still looking for that. *yes*

 

Welp, guess that means I wont be getting a contact address.

i respect your intentions

taking a chance here...
if you ever grabbed something released by "sErIaL_wIzArD" well, that was me

release teams look for purchased copy, with a list of pre-cracked serials or-
a reverse engineer keygen, included with an NFO in DIZ format (no exceptions)

respecting the rules of the board i won't go too deep into the scene
but if you have something to share, and its legit...

form your own release team, up the share to a respectable board, and revel in it
