You know the little red nut/bolt for fxb files? I dont know why sometimes certain files default to blank white icons, it happened with cubase project files too, i set that back, but does anyone know how i can set fxb files back to show the way they are supposed to?

They were just white and I set them to cubase thinking that would fix it but it just shows cubase logo not the fxb file logo...

    thanks

    anyone know why this happens?

hello, all compulsively obsessively disorderly icon chooser fellows ,

not knowing the operation system used, here comes how these things are on my (quite ancient) windows system:
fxb files are using the icon number seven from the executable file
    (executable.exe,7)
fxp files are using the icon number eight from the executable file
    (executable.exe,8)
when registering file type with executable, the system uses the (default) number zero icon from the file, that is why the program logo gets shown
    (executable.exe,0)

selection or modification is possible when registering the file type or in registry editor (define or modify defaulticon key then value string)

under osx me has never experienced any problems with such matters

all the best for all entities aware of their sentience...
