How to convert Guitar Notes on a Wav File to Tablature

    Also fully back on topic-

    I don't think any of these programs should substitute for some good ol' ear training.

    Its not as hard as you think. Developing relative pitch is quite simple, its all about "feeling" the beating frequency.
    Guitarists can practice that fairly easy by untuning their guitar. Then as they get closer, listen to the pulse.
    (its more noticable with harmonics).

    As the pulse gets smaller, your getting closer. Eventually it will go away. Then the notes are perfectly matched.

    Musictheory.net has good ear training/music training resources. (ALL FREE!)
    I'd check it out =)

    Once you can play by ear, its opens up loads of doors.
    Its also a pretty cool party trick for any musician(especially around amateur musicians, they just love it! xD)
