    Tough profession in the 21st Century. Perhaps as hard or harder than trying to become well known as a musician or in acting.


    Even though this is only the US, I looked at other countries. It's pretty consistent averaging it, that +/- 1%, overall, around 5% of engineers get any kind of regular employment. Worse in smaller countries.
