picked up one or two other handy tips i didn't know about too, like insert silence.

edit - btw, regarding the tip about sidechaining a muted sample for the kick drum.... you can also (for most kicks) just turn on the sidechain filter on the compressor and set it to only "hear" the high frequency attack phase of the kick. Adjust thresh, release time, etc. accordingly. way easier and works for a lot of stuff

Make sure its running in task manager. If its not running start the program. If that doesn't help, idk, check event viewer?

that's because you have to 'Double' click

 

i can't get this to work.
i've installed and the icon is on my taskbar but nothing going on when i open Live..
anyone got any ideas?

edit: jeez, whenever i am forced to go on a forum with questions and a sore head, the minute i post i find the problem.
firewall... no idea why but that's what it was.
