made some changes now, V3 is now up and im ready for feedback
- Might toned down the vocal volume a bit too much i heard now

 

I think v2 is better than v3 but even there the vocs are too low in the second/main part.

 

How so? I think V3 might have been to low in the buildup, because the drop feels like it hit way to hard lol. But master wise i think it is better. I had 2 sidechain on my chords on v2 big lol on that one

 

V3 has less low freqs and the first part is too low for the second, imho.

 

Agree gonna fix that, guess v4 will come

 

And don't forget to rise the vocs in the second part.

 

Its kinda like V2 but more low freq, and more hitting in your face imo and better vocal, hope its sounds better V4:

Edit: Might be JUST a little bit to loud in the buildup? to make it just little bit more in your face when drop comes?

Edit 2: Vocal should be a slightly bit louder maybe? Realised now its nearly same as v2 lol

Did you master in S1? Because i can see the infamous S1 low mid echo spike in that waveform. Makes everyhing sound vanilla.

 

Von is back in da house, nice.

Don't tell me you left Cubase for S1.

 

What is S1 lol, my daw is fl studio and mastering and mixing there.

I think i have made some huge changes if you wanna hear how it sounds now:

 

I'm not a mix specialist but have you tried checking your mixes on different soundsources? A lot of these sound kind of similar, super clear but lacking punch.

 

Only soundcloud, well this is first time mixing and mastering serious so im not specialist for sure, and i think the lack of punch is my kick, im trying to find a kick and i will change it but havent found one to replace it yet. And i guess it will sound similar because its not huge differences but some important i guess?

I think if you touch up the transients overall it would really help. Your first mix? You seem to be a familiar with the music forum seeing as you knew about Von's Cubase tendencies friend, good to see you're finally giving the mix thing a go
