How many of you know TAS?

    I mean - the other (not sister) site? Because I think it deserves some love:
    - it literally hosts EVERYTHING like a fuck**ng Web archive of audio warez. You will find there anything released from the last decade
    - it does not give a shit about DMC notices, so you can find there things that are long gone or just non present on sister site.
    - it is run by one man as I presume and it needs some support
    - it is my backup plan when sister site gives me dead links and it happens often

    I think TAS needs some love. And I hope some of you are giving it :)

    You don't know what is TAS?I don't know if i am allowed to post this name here but it is the abbrevation of "the", "audio" and one more word :)

    I am talking about "The Audio Scene" (net) :) Absolutely MUST HAVE if you don't know it.
    It has everything, but it is the very niche site (which is very mysterious for me, because sister site is very popular).

    They are not "exclusive", I rather would call them "archivists" - they gather stuff and host it.
    They host files in two ways:
    - torrent files (you can easily download latest stuff but you will have some trouble to download rare stuff)
    - access to filesever (you can download any stuff via filezilla)

    It is paid, but the monthly cost is equivalent to my monthly uploaded payment, so it is the same for TAS and the sister site. And what I know for sure: TAS is rock solid reliable, I am registered there for years :)

    i use mainly AS, but i have used TAS a few times, works great, but tends to be slower with new releases than AN.

    rutracker repacks releases, often delete NFO files with important information, wouldnt use.

    TAS, AS and sister site keep NFO files.

    Often when things "disappear" from the sister site Ill mosey on over to Rutracker and find it. Nobody fucks with with the Russians.

    ...or Glaswegian women.

    It's beyond slow.
    Even new links are dead.
    I think I'll stick with Rutracker as an alternative. My Russian is slowly improving.
