About 8-10 every day

 

5-12 cigs a day. With a click inside, mostly berry click/ or melon+watermelon click. Smoker since 12, now I am about 27.
100% sure I will give up smoking next month. Really. Enuff

 

I smoked for 40 years and quit 5 years ago after I got pneumonia. I was trying to smoke even through that and realized, finally, how insane it is to breathe toxic smoke into your lungs and rationalize that I liked it. Nicotine is an amazing drug in how it runs your life, the decisions it makes only of benefit to it's selfish self over the health and well being of it's host, you the smoker. Yes, tobacco has been used in religious and spiritual ceremonies, and as well, medicinally, but you are only fooling yourself and letting the nicotine take over the conversation. Tobacco has traditionally been used for many ailments such as asthma, rheumatism, chills, fevers, headaches, ear,ntooth and stomach aches, the pain of child birth, as a remedy for open wounds. It makes a great bug repellant in the garden. But if you become addicted to it you are fucked, plain and simple as it holds you in a death grip and doesn't release you without a great fight. It is used in ceremony, but the casual addicted smoker is dishonoring the purpose of its sacred intention, of the strong medicine by throwing the ashes on the floor and creating waste with filters and/or butts.

Don't start, quit if you do.

There were and only two things I have threatened my daughter with physical violence with. I told her I would smack her on the fanny if she ever climbed up on the railing of our at the time 5th floor balcony when she was little, and that I would break her arm if she smoked cigarettes. I am serious and she knows it. It is that important to me that she not do it...not even to try.

None. No more 'bacco for me. I figured out how much money the habit cost me over five years in terms of cash. It wasn't so much the disastrous effect on my health that made me quit. It was the shock of waking up to how badly I needed to work my ass off in order to raise sufficient funds to buy myself more tobacco.

I can't honestly say that I'm a non-smoker. I am merely a smoker who hasn't had a cigarette for ten years - and probably won't have one today. Mainly because I enjoy denying the taxman my money much more than I enjoy the pleasure of a damned fine cigar.

Zero, never have, never will. I have plenty of other vices!!

I know you will not believe me, but since I began smoking pure natural cuban tobacco with no chemical treatments whatsoever, I have no more nicotine addiction.

Can stop smoking 24 hours or more with absolutely no need to smoke.

This was not the case when I was used to smoke chemical cigarettes.

They won't tell you this.

 

between 3-30 per day, if I drink it´s 30 , this week approx. 25 per day, but that was due to working outside on the sea(worst excuse ever :D )

 

When I first saw the packaging of American Spirits many years ago I thought that it said Addictive Free whereas it really said Additive Free. I'm not quite sure that they were telling the truth though as I was smokin' um 'cause I had em. I was happy but soon my bubble burst when the error of my hopeful subconscious ways was corrected.

 

With the cigarettes, there is also the paper, which is chemically treated (and smell awfull, now I feel that the burning paper smell is very agressive to my nose and lungs, and remains longer in the rooms than the pure tobacco only smell). I have difficulties with the cigarettes paper smell, I really don't like it.

 

I roll my own, always have been. Raw tobacco(smokey gold), if i can get it with long filter, of course.

 

I don’t know about killing myself. Along my life I’ve smoked up to 30 sticks a day. I’ve been a smoker since the age of 14 and I’m turning 45. Now I smoke around 10 a day. I’ve just passed a mandatory physical with flying colors. But who knows. I might as well be killed today driving around in my motor bike. Or maybe I’m just a cynical lucky bastard.

 

I stopped smoking ciggies a long time ago, now I just sprinkle them on top of my Corn Flakes, it's far more healthier that way

I use progressive rock at least an hour a day.

 

I watched people I love suffer because of tobacco. It's evil. Quit now and live a longer, healthier life . . . make more music.
