Lots of places are dumping the boxed versions of EastWest products, i believe that they are going download only now.

 

Possible reasons:
1. The stores need space in their warehouses and don't have the space, time, nor patience for 803,000 box versions of EWQL software - which is the equivalent of 803,000 boxes aardvark-droppings.

2. It's EWQL. Everyone with a life and an IQ above 83 knows they are delusional shitbags.

3 (in continuance of number 1). They could replace all that space with more copies of Omnisphere 2, Ableton Live, Push 2's, Access Viruses, Moogs, Rolands, Ibanez Guitars, Komplete Kontrols, Akais, Maschines, Taylor/martin/fender/gibson guitars, . Who the fuck buys that EW shit anymore besides people with too much time and not enough creative production ideas on their hands? Not too many.

4. Maybe EastWest is going out of business? Sheez wouldn't that be the day. After all, when you're dying, your body does strange behavior: Dying person: *Shits pants* "Honey did you put laxatives in the f***ing kool-aid again?"

5. EastWest has been cracked by R2R and Pitchshifter, and as a result EastWest are shitting their pants and all the shit stains they leave in the pants are shaped exactly like iLoks. This must be a final hopeless attempt by them to make some money while they still can.
