What is called the following instrument?

    With the way processing is these days, any fretted stringed instrument can make that sound, even one that has notes below or above its natural register, due to more accurate pitch transposition.
    That being said, it is in the middle bass lower baritone register and is most likely as said above, a bass or any one of potentially ten arabic region instruments that I can think of. With EQ it can be as bright or dull as anyone wishes these days.

    Asking the composer will always get the right answer.

    That was still an electric bass guitar processed with reverb and delay. Unbelievable how much musical education you're lacking... you seriously need to take Music Appreciation classes at your local school if you don't know what an electric bass is, especially if you think you're going to aspire to a career in music!!!!!!!!

    That goes for EVERYONE born in the last generation too!!!!!!!
