hi guys, as you know, if you intalled AD2 and Additive trigger, the AD2 packs can be used in addictive trigger but i've installed both softwares and nothing appears in addictive trigger, only the default kit.

Click the arrows on the middle of the top of the interface. To the right of the selected menu is the Addictive Drums preset menu.

You can also export the midi and use it in AD. Play through the track and than drag the midi from the output window to your browser.

This is a plugin for detection of drum sounds and converting them to midi - so what are you talking about actually? I am guessing the default kit only serves as a preview, but - I have not done anything with it yet - I don't have drums so I probably won't see any use of this plugin...

Addictive trigger is for drum replacement, if you snare doesn't like you, you can "replace it" with addictive trigger. This software have drum kits and also it can use the addictive drums 2 kits and there is my issue. I can't use my addictive drum packs for replace a weak drum piece.

Export midi and paste it onto the AD2 track - that was my point; it is a plugin so I don't see how you could use as an instrument...

my issue is not with the midi, i want to replace some ezdrummer kick (not the midi, just the sample kick) with addictive trigger, but addictive trigger doesn't have a lot of samples, just a few ones, so you can integrate the AD2 samples with addictive trigger to have much more samples for drum replacement.

Good to hear you got it sorted out. I didn't even consider it being an older version of AD because I saw in the nfo that the install structures are different.

How are you liking Addictive Trigger? For me, its MUCH better than Drumagog, but still not 100% accurate.

i use EZDrummer as my principal soft, but some kicks or snares sound bad. AD2 it's more customizable but the interface it's bad so addictive trigger is like the medium to use both softwares with commodity. I've installed Addictive trigger yesterday but i don't use it yet

Anyone experience the issue that installation/registration went fine but when you load up the plugin no audio is passed into it? I cannot use the trigger feature or even the regular addictive drums, it doesn`t register audio or midi. However, I can load up kit pieces and listen to them by clicking on them but they don`t get triggered.

Win 10 x64, tried with Reaper, Ableton and Studio One 3.
First, I installed the latest addictive drums plugin from R2R`s latest release. Then I copied the contents of the Addictive Drums 2.iso to my HDD an set the path with the AD library placer.
Then I copied the contents from the Addictive Trigger.iso over to the same folder I have my AD library stored in to merge the App and Sound Data folder. After that I applied the supplied Trigger library placer and registered with the keygen.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

in my windows 7 it's working fine, i did the same installation steps but i extract the iso.

    1_ install plugin
    2_ ejecute the library placer
3_ use the keygen and verify if the license is this path (license is a text note) : C:\ProgramData\XLN Audio\XLN Online Installer\App\Licenses

I'm on Windows 7 64 and I'm havig no problems in Reaper or Pro Tools 10 (wrapped).

You put both libraries in the same folder? I have them in different folders, but idk if that matters.

Yeah, as far as I see this is necessary. Otherwise if I load the Addictive Drums 2 plugin in my DAW the application window won`t show the trigger menu. It would just like plain old AD 2. That`s why I thought you`d have to merge the contents of both .iso`s, i.e. the "App" and "Sound Data" folder.

Does it work for you if you have separate folders (Addictive Drums 2 and Addictive Trigger) with its own "App" and "Sound Data" subfolders?

I have my Addictive Trigger and Addictive Drums installs in different folders and they are working 100%. I am able to access the Addictive Drums presets from Addictive Trigger. Sorry if I misunderstood you, its been a long night haha.

Thanks so far. I installed everything once again but if I have the two releases in different folders Addictive Trigger doesn`t show up - only vanilla AD 2. There`s only this plugin available to start everything correct? VSTi: Addictive Drums 2 (XLN Audio) (18 out) -> That`s what I can load as vst in Reaper. Did you install "Setup Addictive Drums 2 v2.1.5" first? If so, did you also install standalone?

Addictive Trigger and Addictive Drums 2 are separate vsts. Did you see an error in Reaper when it scanned Addictive Trigger? Try making a duplicate of the AT dll in your Reaper vst location and reopen Reaper or get it to rescan your plugs. If I remember correctly I think I installed Trigger first, I don't think that would matter, but idk. I also have AD standalone installed.

I installed AD2 just to see what the fuss was all about. I couldn't even get it or any other XLN product licensed (No valid license found error) until I installed AD2 standalone and used the Computer ID from the software itself. The keygen wasn't getting the right ID for some reason.
Accoding to the NFO if you have any previous XLN Audio installations you need to uninstall all of them before installing the new R2R releases.
I would install ALL the XLN products you want first.
Copy the libraries to your HD and use the Library Placer second.
Then use the keygen once everything is installed and use the computer ID from the About section in standalone instead of 'Get' in the keygen.

    Two separate vst`s, really?
    The release "https://audioz.download/software/wi...gger-v103-incl-keygen-happy-new-year-r2r.html"
doesn`t have an installer included, only the keygen and .iso.
The release "https://audioz.download/software/wi...lete-v215-incl-keygen-happy-new-year-r2r.html" has an installer but it only contains the Addictive Drums 2.dll. I can`t find anything that says "trigger". So how did you manage to "install" Trigger?

EDIT: Man, computer`s are strange. I re-downloaded the Trigger release and now I find an executable to install the vst. It wasn`t there when I extracted the previously downloaded files!

Anyway, it`s all working now. Sorry about all the fuss and thanks for the help.

I read that some people had this kind of issue. I did not have to use the computer ID from the software itself. The keygen could get it just fine. I checked and the plugin as well as the keygen both report the same computer ID.
I think my issue is that I`m unable to get a separate Trigger vst to work:)
