I am brand new to Live. I downloaded a Live template from the sister site and want to change the MIDI notes in a MIDI clip. It's hands-on learning for me. I Googled and read that double-clicking on a MIDI clip on the timeline will open the piano roll so that I can alter the notes, but that doesn't happen.

I get this instead and it's not a piano roll. The lower section of the area appears to display velocity. The notes are on the same key, which is what I'd expect, but I've tried everything to move the notes up and down. Nothing.

I'm about to throw my computer across the room. Many thanks!
