Its like your brain thinks that the air arround you are a wire and air pressure means "signal" and no air pressure means "no signal"

So youre doing all-time-all-day lots of calculation with you big beautiful brain to translate these cutes 0's and 1's (pressure and no pressure) into something that can be beautifully translated to what you call "music" (and not at the same time, Schrödinger's Music ma bruddha)

Now my time to ask: If music is just about energy reception could we somehow hear music thorugh a wire? (since a wire uses energy that has the same dimensions that sound have: Amplitude and frequency)

Music doesn't work, obviously...that's why everybody feels a need to continuosly tinker with it. If it did, then we could just all sit back and listen to it without trying to mess with it, realizing it's inherent perfection and calling it a day.

There is no one single answer, because music is art.
If you need things with one single answer, change to mechanics or similar.

The beauty of art resides in its undefinicion, which makes it so flexible.
If there was one single / unique answer, it would be a dogma and music would be dead.

Artists must be able to live with unanswered questions, that's the beauty of art.
Also Artists should focus on doing art, not explaining it.

At the risk of feeding my dear friend Foster -

All art (music, literature, theater, paintings, cinema, etc) works by connecting to the divine in you... We all have that divine spark within us that lights up whenever we experience a sublime piece of art.

Imho, any cognitive explanation of the process is incomplete at best.

Why are you feeding a troll, Olymoon? One think you should know what comes out of these Foster type questions where the op is not interested in a discussion.

You could say it's the arbitrary generation of sound, organized in time.
Whether it sounds "good" or not, is a subjective, endless topic of conversation.

EDIT: Realized from the other posters I might be feeding some troll. Sorry, noob here :'(

Music has been furloughed due to COVID and can only work part time, normal services will resume shortly

Thank you for trying to answer this question.

But it seems another 1000 years is needed for finding the definitive answer.
