How does Maceo Plex achieve the vocal edits in his version of Faithless' Insomnia?

    I'm wondering how Maceo Plex achieve such a clean pitch shift if the voice for his remix of Faithless' Insomnia. It happens at about 00:27 and 00:35, and then comes in and out intermittently throughout the track.

    Anyone got any ideas or tips?

    Wow. What a terrible version of that track.
    It gets quieter when the main motif eventually kicks in!
    Like two ideas badly put together.
    Nothing special here, imo.
    Did use the acapella though.

    "Terrible" is subjective :rofl: I actually don't think it's great as a standalone listen, but embedded within a DJ set, particularly a more techno/tech house, it actually works pretty well, which is what I believe Maceo Plex's intention was as I don't think he's ever officially released it as such, only cos of demand for his edit by people is the only reason I believe he released it.
