How do you rip the midi from the new Toontrack midi packs? The AOR, Rock Ballads to be able to use on my Mac? I've searched all over the hard drive looking for them when I installed them on my Win7 PC to transfer them but couldn't locate them....

    thanx

That's where the MIDI files are on my Mac.

You can also copy them from the downloaded expansions.

It all depends where You installed them... find that folder and copy them where You need them to be; simple as that.

Alternatively, if You need just a few of them, You can drag them from EZ Drummer into a track of Your DAW and save them as midi... that will give You a chance to preview them, and choose the ones that You like.

...You can save them also using EZ Drummer as standalone

...many ways to accomplish what You want.

On windows you should find all the Toontrack MIDI files you installed in packs here:

C:/ProgramData/Toontrack/EZdrummer/ Note that ProgramData is hidden by default and you have to tell Windows via the tools, Folder Options... To show hidden files and folders

Hope that helps and you can now find all of them and transfer them over to your MAC OSX setup

    All the best

Just realized what you may be asking. Where are the MIDI files and or, how do you extract the MIDI files?
The MIDI files for EZkeys are stored in a monolith similar to Addictive Drums now.

First method is to drag and drop onto your DAW or Desktop and rename the file or, drag the files to the internal
EZkeys block builder, create a folders to mirror the internal MIDI browser, select all the blocks from EZkeys and
drag them to the correct folder.

You can open the MIDI monolith in a text browser to view. Maybe there is a way to convert to XML MIDI and
then to normal MIDI. Just a thought.

I realized I am 7 years late to this question LOL!! I just found the solution from a toontrack forum. A participant by the name of Vjeko responded with this. You have to drag whatever midi you want exported into the song builder at the bottom in EZKeys, then go to

Menu -> Song Track -> Export song as MIDI File.
