Going off topic, but did Logic ever exist on ST? I wasn't an Atari user, I thought it was Notator or Creator that people used (from eMagic, that is).

I found this. The creator of the video said it's an Atari STI.

ok you see a cute kitten in a little ball
    and you
"awwww" now just pop a dA in front of that and you Get dAAwwwe or DAW

are DAW's (Digital audio Workstation) yes daw is an anagram

    but i digress

are Daws Sequencers in the early days yes. much easier to sequence on a computer than say Roland MSQ100

these days they are still sequencers but soooo much more recorders/ audio processors/arrangers on have the ability to host gigantic sound paletes

something your old school sequencer just cant do

i call it D beacause my time is too valuable to waste on two more letters. And it's also fun to say "My D is frozen" or "My D is better than yours, and more expensive".

Jokes aside, it depends. If i'm talking or reading in spanish i just say it as an entire word, that seems to be the concensus around my country, which would sound something like "cow", but with d instead of c. If it's in english, then i spell it out.

some call it split personality. I call it "the spanglish switcheroo".

Since it's an abbreviation, it could either be an initialism (spelling each letter) or an acronym (spelling it as a word). I've always spelled it as a word.

Don't mention it, I'm always learning something new here as well (like how a lot of people are into making beats, EDM, trap, etc, I had no idea LOL).

I might be speaking out of my ass here, but the term workstation must have been derived from the keyboard workstations that were used to arrange whole songs in MIDI, in which case, audio sequencer may be the right term.

Yeah I know - I played with the Atari Falcon way back myself  but the funny thing about this is the fact sequensers were called sequensers long after they´ve started integrate real audio (wavs).....

    Basic line:
Regardless of how you pronounce DAW, at one point or another you will probably have to say the name of your DAW, and then the pronunciation is probably rather inferior imho.

51 is not being old - that starts after you have reached 60 and over :bleh:

I simply pronounce it "Reaper".

Yeah, 51 is not being old. Old is when... errr... what was I saying?
